What is uChoose Rewards?
uChoose Rewards is a rewards program where you can earn points for using your VISA Debit and Credit Card, then redeem your points for anything of your choice from a huge online rewards catalog, including cash back.
Do I have to register my VISA Debit and Credit Card to start earning points?
Yes, you can register your VISA Debit and Credit Card at www.uChooseRewards.com. If you would like to pool your points together from your Debit and Credit Card, once you register the first card you can add the other card under Preferences.
How do I earn points?
Earn points on all VISA Debit and Credit Card purchases. You do not earn points for ATM transactions. Plus, you can earn even more points when you shop at participating retailers. Choose to shop in-store at national or local retailers or online through www.uChooseRewards.com.
Where can I earn points?
You earn points everywhere your VISA Debit and Credit Card is accepted. ATM transactions and purchases made online with your Visa Debit and Credit Card do not qualify unless paying online through Visa Checkout, through the uChoose Rewards site, or within sites and apps using Apple Pay (Apply Pay is not available for VISA Credit Cards).
How are points calculated and is there a minimum dollar amount before earning points?
You will earn 1 point for each $2 spent with your VISA Debit Card. You will earn 1 point for every $1 spend with your VISA Credit Card. There is a minimum of $10 purchase before earning points.
What can I redeem my points for?
You can redeem your points for literally thousands of options. It all depends on your personal preferences. You can get event tickets, electronic and hi-tech gadgets, spa treatments, apparel, airline tickets, activity vouchers, or cash back - the list goes on and on. Browse the redemption section to see all the exciting options available to you. uChoose Rewards keeps track of all the points you earn and will help you find just what you are looking for when you are ready to redeem. There is even a Wish List that will help you track when you have earned enough to redeem a specific item.
When can I redeem my points?
It can take up to 30 to 60 days for your points to be credited to your account. You must accumulate 2,000 points before you can redeem your points. After that, you can redeem for any number of amazing items. Simply look at your “Total Points Available for Redemption” on the Points Detail page to see how many points you have available for redemption.
Can I share points with family members?
Yes, all debit cards within an account automatically earn points together. In addition, if you have multiple accounts with the Credit Union, you can link them together to earn rewards faster. Just visit the Preferences page to link more accounts to yours.
Where can I view my point activity?
You can access the history of your point activity on the Point Detail page.
Is there a maximum number of points that I can earn?
Yes, there is a 100,000 points maximum per year.
What if I shopped at a participating retailer, but my points are not showing up?
It can take up to 30 days for a transaction to appear on the Point Details page. If points from a qualified transaction do not appear after 30 days, please contact the number or e-mail listed on the Contact Us page for assistance.
When I redeem for a product, can I ship my redemption to an address other than the one the Credit Union has on file for me?
Yes, you will have the opportunity to change the address for your redemptions as long as the address is located in the United States.
Can points be redeemed at the point of purchase or can they only be redeemed online?
You can only redeem point online through www.uChooseRewards.com.
What will happen to my points if my card is lost or stolen?
If your card is lost or stolen and a replacement card is issued, points will automatically be transferred to the new card. Once you receive your new card, you will need to re-register the new card by logging into your uChooseRewards.com account.
If someone manages to access my uChoose Rewards username and password, can they use my points?
Every effort is made to authenticate uChoose Rewards participants- but fraud can occur. If you feel that you might have been a victim of fraud, contact the Credit Union so that an investigation can be undertaken.
Do my points expire?
Points expire after 3 years
Will I be notified when my points are going to expire?
Yes, when you logon to your uChooseRewards account, you will be notified 60 days before your points are going to expire.
Is there a cost to join the uChoose Rewards program?
There is no cost. Membership in the uChoose Rewards program is absolutely free to our Credit Union cardholders.
