Share Draft Checking
Credit Union Share Draft Accounts work just like a checking account only better. You receive dividends on your balance plus, there are no minimum balance requirements and no per check fees. In addition, overdraft protection is available for up to 5 Share Savings Accounts.
Once membership is established in the credit union, qualifying members may have a Share Draft Account opened. Members with a direct deposit only pay $20 per box of checks. Members without a direct deposit pay just $25 for a box of checks. Retired members with direct deposit of their pension check or social security receive checks 2 boxes of checks per year for FREE.
The credit union provides duplicate checks to help maintain accurate records. Canceled checks are not returned. Photocopies of checks may be obtained via online banking or at the credit union for a nominal fee.
Transaction Account
A transaction account is a share checking account without checks. Access your account with a debit card to make purchases online or in stores, ATM withdrawals, and electronic or ACH deposits and withdrawals. Transaction Accounts receive the same dividend rate as a Share Draft Checking on your balance. No minimum balance requirement.
All members qualify for a debit card with a Share Draft or Transaction account. Restrictions may apply.
Overdraft Courtesy Pay
Courtesy Pay allows transactions to process even when funds are not available in your checking account – up to a certain limit. This means that if you make a payment out of your checking account whether it’s with a check, ACH or your debit card, but do not have enough money in your account, we’ll allow the payment to go through and your account will then go into the negatives. This keeps you from having declined cards or bounced checks and you can later put money back into your account. Overdraft balance are due within 30 days of use. Must meet requirements to be eligible for this service.
